Welcome along to our sensory play course!

 

 

Starting on Monday 16th November we are going to be delivering five sessions that cover –

 

– How to get started with sensory play

– Why it is important and our eight senses

– Motor skills and positioning

– Laying out play spaces

– Play patterns

– How to ensure that you are not overstimulating your baby

– Our favourite toys to support development

– Play sessions

– Lots of opportunities for Q&A

– Access to printables and activities that you can do at home too

Course schedule

 

Wednesday 23rd September 

 

10am – Introduction to sensory development & play, our eight senses  – recording posted on dashboard

1.30pm – Q&A and play session delivered live

 

 

 You will need

– safe space for your baby to play

– chiffon, scarf, muslin square or face cloth

– music toy, rattle or shaker

– small toy for tracking

 

 

Thursday 24th September

 

 

10am – Play spaces, patterns, led play & exploratory play  – recording posted on dashboard

 

 

Friday 25th September

 

 

10.30am – Q & A, our favourite toys and a play session delivered live 

 

You will need 

– a safe space for your baby to play

– a book

– a music toy

– a small plush toy

 

Monday 28th September

 

 

10am – Motor skills Monday – tummy time, sitting, rolling & play – recording posted on dashboard

 

 

Tuesday 29th September

 
 

10am – Baby states – recording posted on dashboard

1.00pm – Q&A and play session delivered live 

 

You will need

– 2 contrasting textures for under our babies e.g. blanket, fleece, scarf, jumper

– music toy

– small toy for tracking

– 2 different textured toys e.g. link, plush toy or sensory bottle
